The point here is that Matic now has a higher market capitalization than <a href="/price/dogecoin-doge" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Dogecoin</a> and is edging closer to <a href="/price/cardano-ada" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Cardano</a>, currently ranked number 8 with a market cap which is slightly over $12.5 billion.

## Matic shows a bullish trend
There are several reasons why Matic has maintained a bullish momentum since the beginning of the year.
